Welcome to 2011 – our inaugural season starts today at the Tour de Vineyards

In our first race for 2011 PureBlack Racing has 9 riders on the start line at the Tour de Vineyards which will be raced over 4 days from 1-4 January in the Tasman region. For our Elite and U23 riders this is a lead in race for the Elite Nationals in Christchuch next weekend on the 7th and 9th of January. Scott Lyttle and Michael Torckler shine in Rice Mountain Classic

In PureBlack Racing’s final race of 2010 the Rice Mountain Classic in the Waiarapa local boy Scott Lyttle finished 2nd and Michael Torckler in his first race for PureBlack Racing and in his first race since breaking his collar bone on the first day of the Tour of Southland finished 3rd to Jeremy Yates who won the race on the final climb up Admirals Hill.
